A test run of the feedback effect I’m working on. Just need to get some better footage down~
Working on some “as colourful as I can possibly make them” feedback effects for two shows I’m playing at the end of October. here’s a test run of a purely software droste version w/ web cam and vdmx.
Fantastic video I came across a bit randomly. Some beautiful examples of video feedback.
Test run of the autotext thing. Fun and drostey.
TEI 2010 / Relief: a responsive 3D surface from benny on Vimeo.
Relief allows users to form 3D shapes via a maleable tabletop device. Very nicely designed way for users to interact with digital spaces while retaining often missed tactile feedback.
As a programmer and avid max/Jitter user, I’m fairly comfortable with video feedback and the creative use thereof. It’s interesting to see some older, analog based examples of the technique though. While I can’t recommend the design/categorization on the site itself, the visual content is quite interesting.
